“one who conducts visitors and sightseers to museums and explains matters of archaeological, antiquarian, historic or artistic interest.” For beer, a Cicerone will possess the knowledge and skills to guide those interested in beer culture, including its historic and artistic aspects. “Cicerone” now designates a person with demonstrated expertise in beer who can guide consumers to enjoyable and high-quality experiences with great beer."
How does Cicerone apply to our lives at Euclid Hall?
We sell a lot of phenomenal food and well crafted artisanal beers at Euclid Hall. Our job as a Certified Beer Servers or a Certified Cicerone® is to server the beer as the brewer intended it to be served.
What does that mean?
-well maintained
-served at the correct temperature
-served in clean and proper glassware

If everyone did their job...
we would receive a beer that was...
-well made
-sold quickly
-shipped promptly
-delivered cold
-in a timely manner
There is so much to the cicerone program, but it all comes down to serving great beer made by cool people served the way the brewer intended.

Upon receiving the properly handled beer we would promptly...
-store the beer in the cooler
-serve it fresh or cellar it correctly
If they truly had it their way...
It would be served in an incredible setting to a fitting soundtrack with the perfect pairings by knowledgeable and attentive servers and bartenders like we do at Euclid.
